In the history of the North American automotive market, the Toyota RAV4 holds the distinction of being the first crossover SUV when it was introduced in the mid-1990s. The current exterior styling of the RAV4 sports a ruggedly futuristic look. You have two-tone color options for a more personalized touch. LED headlights and taillights are standard, while fog lights and a power moonroof are optional.
Inside the RAV4, you will find a spacious cabin prioritizing comfort and utility. Both seating rows can be heated and ventilated in higher grades. You get a generous 39.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, which you can fold to get a maximum of 69.8 cubic feet of storage.
When it comes to staying informed and entertained on the road, the RAV4 offers an intuitive infotainment system you can control through voice commands or a touchscreen. You can access some apps through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The base RAV4 comes with a crisp-sounding factory stereo, but higher grades come with a premium JBL audio system with a subwoofer and more speakers for immersive listening.
Other automakers call them models or trims; Toyota calls them grades, and the RAV4 has 13 you can get. The starter grade is the RAV4 LE, which offers all-wheel drive as an option. The XLE and XLE Premium grades have a long list of extras and amenities. If you are interested in weekend adventures and off-road driving, the RAV4 Adventure and TRD are highly recommended.
