For the new model year, the only changes that the Toyota Tundra underwent were to its TRD Pro Series trim level. Outside of that, the rugged full-size pickup truck continues to deliver the same great reliability and capabilities it has the past several years. Rumors around the market are that the Tundra will be getting a major overhaul sometime within the next couple of years, perhaps as early as next year. But for now, we remain stoked that the 2020 Toyota Tundra in Moline IL is available.
It might not have had any enhancements or new features added, but it is an incredible light-duty truck fully capable of tackling a wide range of jobs. First introduced in 2000, the second- and current-generation Tundra has been around since 2007 with its mid-generation facelift coming in 2014. That’s one of the main reasons we think a new one is coming sooner than later.
As for the 2020 Tundra, there are plenty of great specs & features that are exciting about the 2020 Tundra. Thanks to its 5.7L V8 engine, which generates 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque, the Tundra is capable of towing more than 10,000 pounds! With a 4-/7-pin connector and TOW/HAUL Mode, the Tundra is equipped to handle a wide array of trailers and is ready to get you and all your stuff, whatever it might be, on the road and moving. Features like its integrated Trailer Brake Controller and Trailer-Sway Control make sure that you and your contents stay safe on the road.
But there is plenty of other great content inside and out that makes the Tundra an excellent pickup truck option. Features like its standard Toyota Safety Sense P package, Remote Connect, Apple CarPlay compatibility, 13.9” front brake rotors and available TRD trim levels make the Tundra the incredible pickup truck it is. We’re happy to be able to offer it right here at Hiland Toyota in Moline, so be sure to give us a call if you have any questions or think you might be interested in one of your own.
