Muscle Tuner Automotive
Toyota teamed up with Muscle Tuner Automotive to build a tribute to the iconic AE86 Corolla GT-S model. The builders included cosmetic cues nodding to the original model while introducing plenty of performance mods and upgrades to help it compete in the Battle of the Shops.
Next, hot rod specialist company SoCal Kustomz decided to build a Corolla Hatchback inspired by the vehicles they’re used to working with, and thus we ended up with a Corolla Hatchback Hot Rod with plenty of cosmetic and performance enhancements.
Then Toyota teamed up with automotive media empire Super Street to build a model built solely with tackling the track in mind. Once again, plenty of cosmetic and performance-enhancing upgrades found their way into the vehicle, including most notably an underbody light kit.
Legendary racing team Papadakis then partnered with Toyota Racing Development to completely redesign a 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback designed for drifting. This was a huge undertaking, as the two teams needed to completely convert the FWD vehicle into a RWD one.
Speaking of drifting, drift legends Hoonigan then took their stab at the Corolla Hatchback by building the ultimate film chase car, complete with mounted cameras and microphones and plenty of other incredible technology perfect for tackling the Hollywood movie set.
